The Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library (EGBML) has provided quality materials and services that fulfill the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the Iron River area since 2001. The EGBML is situated in the small town of Iron River, Wisconsin, where the year-round resident population is 761. In addition to serving people in the immediate vicinity of the Town of Iron River, the EGBML also serves several smaller communities in the surrounding 950-square-mile area. The Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library serves children in three school districts, including Maple, South Shore, and Drummond.
